Not all women are gifted with a well-formed “behind.” Lucky for those who belong to a certain race that have such a butt. For instance, the Black Americans, they know how the guys would holler when they pass by the street. Their buttocks really are their goodies. So who are the famous bumps that make everybody wants to save up for an ass surgery:

  1. Jennifer Lopez – Rumor has it that she actually insured her big tushie. Of course, she has completely denied it. She got her buttocks all firmed up, thanks to her fitness instructor who highlighted what her momma has given her.
  2. Beyoncé Knowles – Good for Jay Z, he gets all the lumps slash humps all for himself. One of the things that make him crazy for love.
  3. Kim Kardashian – The new buttocks in town that the Papparazzi could not get enough of. Recently, she has been rumored to have some cellulite removed.

Who says skinny is the only idea of a beautiful body? Full-bodied women can compete as well. Kudos to those who reinvent the “pretty” principles! Big and bigger women are slowly coming out of their insecurities and show their ASSets. Say, the recent winner of America’s Next Top Model has some great ass… just so everybody knows.

How To Gain Peace Out Of Noise May 17, 2008

I think that silence is so expensive these days, especially in the city. I really have a hard time sleeping at night. Honks replace the crickets and the frogs. People still up and partying makes the sound of the leaves and the breeze obsolete. Sometimes it is hard to accept that the city life requires these minimum noises to call itself as such developed place.

It has been a while since I have a peaceful night. And then I have found something online that become my only solution to my “city” and shallow problem – the white noise. I have been listening to it via the Internet for some times now.

It’s so zen, or at least I find it as one. It filters those annoying sound and actually take me to a place that is silent enough for me to get a good night sleep.

It has been awhile that experts prove that the white noise can help people sleep. My theory is that, the noise has this recurring and monotonous sound that lets my mind relax, and even focus on relaxing.

Now I’m sleeping soundly. I want to share this experience, click here to listen to the white noise.

10 Men You Want To Take Home To Mom May 9, 2008

You had boyfriends. You have a boyfriend. But then the question is, “Is he worth introducing to your mother?” I bet not all of them were not that worthy enough. Here is my wish list of who I want to take home and give my mom some sugar:

Brendan Fehr – He might be the former bad boy in the TV hit series Roswell, but Brendan is every mother’s dream guy. He is grounded with his faith and conventional lifestyle. A clean-cut guy, I may say. However, he has edges like being a hardcore fan of hockey and Metallica.

Matt Damon – He is smart, talented and even so funny. He has always this good and hero-type image on screen, which also reflects him in real life. He has been voted as the sexiest man alive for obvious reasons: looks and wits always work both ways.

Matt Dallas – Or at least his character Kyle XY. He’s really really smart, good and everything nice. He is clueless sometimes but he only thinks of doing good to other people. He knows that the family should be kept in love and care.

Brad Pitt – He’s too good looking, I know, but he also takes a great leap in fatherhood. Although I don’t like the part wherein he left Jennifer Aniston. But hey, take a look at him with kids. He also an advocate of good change for humanity.

Keanu Reeves – He is always decent and not visible on the red carpet, which means that he’s not taken away by the fame that comes along with his job. He’s the all-time regular guy mom would always want to hang around.

Scott Michael Scott – Have you seen him lately in Greek the TV series? I love his character Cappie. Not your conventional guy but he knows where he stands and definitely knows the ways how to impress the parents. He is sensible but hides that underneath all those crappy things he does. He is even very fluent in Latin, or at least Cappie is.

Taylor Kitsch – It’s his character in Friday Night Lights, actually. Not really someone anybody would want her mother to meet. But he is willing to clean up for the love of his life. He has extraordinary determination. However, he needs to be constantly supported and loved. Cute, isn’t he?

Wentworth Miller – Coming from a very conservative family, he is a good pick for that meet-the-parents dinner. He speaks and acts the gentleman’s language.

James Lafferty – I notice his annoying character in One Tree Hill, which has significantly changed throughout the season. I like that in a man. He can adapt and keep up with the needed changes in his life.

Jude Law – He is not really my first choice of guy in real life because of his reputation. However, he can surely charm mom off with his looks and accent. I would not marry him, but I would like to take him home to every dinner with my parents.

The “Eau” differences of perfumes May 1, 2008

Most likely we buy the fragrance that is the cheapest but smell as good as the concentrated. Generally, we think that cologne is the lesser version of the perfume. It usually means cologne equals splashing every hour, and perfume re-spraying after three to four hours or until the smell fades off. Cologne relates to freshness, while perfume represents elegance. So where are we drawing the line when we wear a fragrance? Of course, it is a matter of personal preference.

Do you want to buy a cologne or a perfume? Is a perfume the same as Eau de Parfum? Or, Is cologne short for Eau de Cologne? What about Eau de Toilette? Why is there an “eau de”? Somehow we don’t really care because it’s how it smells that matters.

Perfume comes from the Latin word “per fumum” or through smoke. Ironically, perfume is water-based so perhaps it’s all about the lasting smell like how the smoke stick on clothes. That’s why the “eau de” is added, which is a French term for “water of.” Basically, Eau de Parfum means water becoming smoke (?). It’s much clearer if the whole idea is represented by a spraying process. A spray somehow looks like a smoke.

Eau de Cologne or just Cologne. Although known to have the least composition with only 2-5% aromatic compounds or perfume oil, cologne – as popularly known – has a trademark smell, which is weak and very citrus, or at least that’s how it is originally known in Cologne, Germany. However, a lot of people will argue with that fact since there are several variety on the shelves.

Eau de Toilette. It has 5-20% aromatic compounds. It is the middle smell of between Eau de Perfum and Eau de Cologne, although there is only a slight difference with Eau de Perfum. Literally, this means that Eau de Toilette is water of toilet (?), which is not a very encouraging smell. But for the perfume makers, this mixture of scents is not too weak and not too strong. For everybody else, it’s not too expensive or too cheap.

Eau de Parfum. The most concentrated among the three types fragrance mixtures, with 15-30% of aromatic compounds. It’s highly concentrated and it lasts longer. It’s also more expensive and strong. However, it is lesser concentrated than Perfume itself, which really has that heavy nice smell.

Every house of perfumes has its own levels of concentration as well as mixtures of aromatic compounds. There are occasions that what may be Eau de Toilette in one product name could be Eau de Perfum on the other brand.

The important thing about buying perfume goes beyond choices. The fragrance has to blend in with the body chemistry. What smells good on one person may not smell that great on another, especially if it’s used for a longer period of time. That is why fragrance should be changed every six months, because eventually that glorious scent will adapt to the body and become just an ordinary smell. Worse yet, it will smell bad rather than nice.

4 Quick Roads to Weight Loss

Secrets to adapt the lifestyles of the rich but not so famous January 23, 2008

Even if we don’t want to admit it, we all like to get wealthy even in our wildest dreams.  The lure of living with endless spending makes us work harder. By endless spending, I mean being able to put the money to where our hearts are.  Be it to material things or our causes or our passions.

But getting millions richer ain’t that easy. There are those who get it the old-fashion way, they inherit the stash,  But  not all of us have wealthy ancestors.

The rich but not so famous seem to have it all. Why? Because they can enjoy the luxuries of life without being stalked by paparazzis or frequently interviewed by entertainment magazines.

But we all can enjoy the lifestylesof the rich but not so famous without  robbing a bank or working 24/7 for the overtime pay.

    1.  Be content with what you have.

Well, at least for the moment.  If from the time you were born into this world without a silver spoon in your mouth, so to speak, then at least strive to keep things as they are.  Spend with what you earn.

    2. Keep the worthy friends.

Your friends are one your priceless treasures.  No amount of wealth or luxury can replace the joy having them over at dinner or being godmothers or godfathers to their children.

    3. Protect your family.

When the world ends, hopefully not anytime soon, our families will be the only ones who will be there by our sides.  They are the ones who keep us grounded and strong.

    4. Pursue your calling.

You are the only one who knows what your passion is.  Don’t be hesistant to pursue whatever your heart desires.

    5.  Give, give, and give.

Nobody can never deny the joy in giving. Instead of yearning for what we want, work to be able to bring something back to your family or the society.

    6.  Don’t be afraid to be happy.

The pessimistic in us hinders us from being completely happy in the moment. We have this fear that good things never last. There is some truth to that but the thing is, fully enjoy the moment for it may never come again, but if it will, it won’t be exactly the same.

    Positivity is the key

Nothing beats a positive attitude to being rich but not so famous.  If we all have happy feelings, which is hard to feel this days, then we will have the drive to do better and one day, actually get rich, in the financial sense and in the wholistic sense.
